Why are there orbs on a picture of me, my husband and daughter by the christmas tree?

The orb is on both me and my baby girl. At first I just umed it was a reflection from one of the ornaments, but my husband told me that when he was younger and lived in a haunted house, those spots used to be all over all of the pictures they took with a film camera. I feel really creeped out by this and I was wondering if there was a more logical explination?
